My car is getting vibrations at around 50-60 mph. I am getting all new tires but the previous owner of the car replaced the stock DS (due to a bad CSB) with a steel 1 piece from Shaft Masters (Whom Ive had success with on the different cars I've done) I've read some post here and have seem this is a common problem in the Z community some have no issues while others get the dreaded Vibration/Harmonic noise. I called a reputable machine shop that referred me to a local shop that can balance Drive Shafts. I've seen some guys have issues at .006 run out (i dont know if that measurement is at the trans or the diff) I will inform the tech that balances the shaft the runout may need to be .002 - .004.
What do you'll think the runout should be or does that even matter I dont have the old shaft and would like to use a 1 piece. Thank you for reading
